Spinach

Cooked Spinach is better than consuming raw spinach. Spinach contains alot of nutrients, but you will absorb the iron and calcium from it better if cooked and then consumed. Heating or cooking vegetables like spinach and carrot, releases antioxidants which is considered to be very good for you

I like to add the spinach along with the water in a vessel and cook it for 2 minutes before blending it with the other ingredients

Cucumber

Cumcumber helps to flush out the toxins from the body and also reduces cholestrol levels. It also helps with better digestion. Chop the cucumber roughly before blending

Ginger and Lemon

These two ingredients add flavor to the green juice and also boost weight loss. Lemon is good for the skin and also prevents inflammation

Apple and Kiwi

Apples are high in antioxidants and are perfect to add sweetness to a juice loaded with green veggies

Kiwi is low on the glycemic index and is fiber packed, making it a good ingredient for a green juice recipe

Cook the spinach leaves with water for 2 minutes.

This Healthy Green juice recipe for weight loss is an easy and delicious healthy juice recipe. Takes barely 5 mins to make this detox juice for glowing skin

Ingredients

  • 1 medium cucumber chopped 200 grams approx
  • ½ large apple, chopped 90 grams approx
  • 10-12 spinach leaves
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 kiwi, chopped 60 grams approx
  • ¼ cup water
  • few mint leaves optional

Instructions

  • Wash the spinach leaves and cook it for 2 minutes along with the water. Switch off the gas and let it come to room temperature
  • Next, add the spinach leaves with the water, cucumber, apple, ginger, lemon juice, mint leaves and kiwi (all the ingredients) in a blender. Blend until smooth and consume immediately or within an hour
