(Basically, you learn everything that goes into making wedding cakes, in a hands-on class with us at Bakealish)
During the workshop,
we make our own cake, marzipan, etc. This class is a hands-on class where each student will be working on their own individual cakes from draping cakes to decorating them.
My personal recipes are foolproof recipes which will be done from scratch giving you the complete knowledge on the right skills and techniques required. I will also guide you with basics like the oven instructions.

Details on what you learn during the Workshop on Traditional Fondant Cakes
I shall teach you to make good fondant all by yourself rather than buying the ready-made cornflour loaded ones. Perfect for draping tall cakes, tier cakes, cupcakes and more
Details on how to roll fondant, drape, fix cracks, etc will also be covered during the workshop.
You will learn how to convert fondant into gum paste for decorating purposes. I will also teach you to make some flowers like roses, cherry blossoms, leaves and more..
I shall help you decorate your cakes with fondant loops, drapes and other traditional wedding cake patterns. Fondant coloring, marbling will also be taught. Use of edible shimmers & dust will also be shown.
How to get the perfect royal icing consistency and nozzle work patterns will also be done
We will also have discussions on fondant cake stacking.
At the end of the workshop, each of you can take home your individual cakes.

Rs 5500/- all inclusive ( We will also provide you with the materials needed during the session which includes individual cakes, fondant, marzipan, icing work, etc ) However, each student is requested to carry their own rolling pin and Fondant rolling mat (get in touch with the tutor for more details)
DISCOUNT – Payments done by 28th October 2022′ will receive a discount of 10%, that brings your class fee to Rs 4950/- (students who do the payments post 28th October need to pay the full fee of Rs 5500/- NO DISCOUNT)
During the class each student will be working on their individual cakes. However making the cake batter, kneading of the fondant & marzipan will be done only by the class conductor to make sure students can write a number of tips and tricks during the making
We will be providing you with all the materials required however each student needs to bring their own rolling pin & fondant mat for the workshop ( call for clarification if you have doubts)
This class consist of a fixed number of students in a batch, please book your seats at the earliest. Once seats occupied no more registrations will be taken
We do take an advance payment of 50% of the class fee. It can be done via bank transfers
People new to baking, feel free to be a part of the workshop
This is not an egg-free workshop, however egg free recipes will also be shared (the fondant recipe is 100% eggless)
