This Easy Homemade Healthy Granola Recipe is loaded with Oats, Seeds, dry fruits, almond butter and lots of healthy ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups rolled oats
  • cup chia seeds
  • ½ cup mixed seeds (I used sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds)
  • ¼ cup almonds, chopped
  • ¼ cup cashews, chopped
  • ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup oil (I like coconut oil)
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup dried apricots, chopped

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, mixed seeds, almonds, walnuts, cashews, salt & cinnamon together. Mix well and set aside (dry mixture)
  • In another bowl, combine the maple syrup, oil, almond butter, and vanilla essence together. Whisk well (wet mixture)
  • Combine the wet mixture and dry mixture together. Mix well and spread this mixture on a baking dish lined with parchment paper
  • Spread it evenly in a very thin layer and bake at 180 degrees C for 45 to 55 mins making sure you toss the granola mixture every 15 mins. This will make sure the mixture is crisp and has no lumps
  • Once golden brown, take it out from the oven and throw in the dried cranberries and dried apricot chunks. Mix well
  • Once the mixture comes to room temperature, store it in an airtight container

Recipe Notes

Feel free to substitute the maple syrup with honey
Stays well for up to a month
