I call them The Perfect Dark Chocolate Brownies as they are perfectly moist, decadent, fudgy and are easy to make. Just like any other brownie recipe, these are quick to make but they taste heavenly and simply perfect
- ½ cup 110 grams salted butter
- ¾ cup 135 grams pure dark chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons 4 grams instant coffee powder
- ½ cup 100 grams superfine brown sugar
- ½ cup 60 grams all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup 100 grams roughly chopped chocolate
Firstly, in a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, mix well and set aside
Next, on a double boiler, combine the chocolate chips and salted butter. Melt completely. Set this mixture aside to cool a bit
In another bowl, beat the eggs with the brown sugar for 5 mins. The mixture should feel fluffy. Add the coffee powder and continue beating.
Next, combine with the flour mixture making sure there are no lumps. Add the roughly chopped chocolate chunks to the batter.
In conclusion, bake the batter in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 40 mins or until an inserted skewer comes out with a few crumbs on it.
Let cool for 10-15 mins before biting into this freshly baked brownie
