Learn how to make Homemade Nutella or Hazelnut Chocolate spread with this easy recipe that makes the best nutella at home within 5 minutes
- 130 grams Hazelnuts 1 cup
- 20 grams light brown cocoa powder 3 tbsps
- ½ cup powdered sugar 60 grams or as per taste
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp cooking oil 15 ml
Place the hazelnuts (without it's skin) in a baking tray and bake for 10 mins or until golden in color at 200 degrees C (400 F)
Once done, in a blender, add the roasted hazelnuts and blend. First it should form a grainy texture and as you continue blending, it should form a paste (this takes about 2 to 3 mins)
Next, add the cocoa powder, salt, sugar, vanilla essence and oil. Blend well until it forms a smooth paste. Store in a jar at room temperture for upto a week and in the fridge for 2 months
