Learn how to make strawberry jam without pectin using fresh strawberries. Quick & easy to make jam recipe with 2 ingredients

Ingredients

  • 250 grams strawberries roughly chopped
  • 125 grams granulated sugar

Instructions

  • In a pan on medium heat, add the chopped strawberries and sugar. Mix well until all the sugar melts
  • Once the sugar has melted, bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally
  • Cook this on medium heat for about 7 to 10 minutes or until the jam is thick just like the texture of thick honey. Using a spatula, mash some of the strawberry chunks while stirring as the mixture cooks
  • To test if the jam is ready. Dip the back of the spoon in it. It should form a coat of jam on the spoon that remains on it and doesn't drip off easily
  • Once done, remove the jam in a container and let it come to room temperature. You can then store it in the fridge for upto 2 months
