Almond Flour Brownies also known as Keto Brownie is a no refined flour Brownie recipe. These are brownies made with almond flour which is fudgy, moist and delicious

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 75 ml melted salted butter 5 tablespoons
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence 2.5 ml
  • 190 grams castor sugar 1 cup
  • 40 grams cocoa powder 6 tablespoons
  • 40 grams pure chocolate, melted ¼ cup of chocolate chips can be melted
  • 40 grams pure chocolate chips ¼ cup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 4 grams
  • 150 grams almond flour 1 ½ cup

Instructions

  • In a big bowl, combine whole eggs, castor sugar, vanilla essence and melted butter. Whisk until well combined. No need to use electric mixers, a regular hand whisk works well for this recipe
  • Next, add the cocoa powder and melted chocolate. Continue whisking for a minute
  • Lastly, add the almond flour with baking powder and throw in the chocolate chips as well. Whisk well and make sure there are no lumps in the batter
  • Bake the brownies in a 7-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper at 170 degrees C for 40 to 45 mins. Once baked, let it come to room temperature before cutting

How to check if the brownies are done?

  • Insert a skewer in the center of the brownies, it should come out with a few crumbs on it and a slightly sticky texture (not much)
This is a sign that the brownies are cooked and yet fudgy. The sides of the brownies should feel firm and cooked when touched
