- ¾ cup water 180 ml
- ¾ cup milk 180 ml
- ¼ cup sugar, or add as per taste 50 grams
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder 7 grams
- ¼ cup dark chocolate, chopped 40 grams
- 2 tbsps pure ghee (clarified butter) 30 grams
- ½ cup semolina / rava 90 grams
- 10 grams Almonds, roasted and chopped 10 almonds
In a pan, on medium heat combine the milk, water, sugar and cocoa powder. Whisk well until all the sugar has melted. Bring to a boil for a few seconds and switch off the gas. Whisk in the chopped chocolate and mix well until melted
In another pan, add the ghee and melt it on slow to medium flame. Add the semolina and keep stirring until roasted for 5 to 7 mins or until you get an aroma from the semolina
Next, pour the milk mixture into the rava and keep whisking to make sure there are no lumps. Cover this mixture for 2 mins and stir as required
Add the roasted chopped almonds or any nuts of your choice to the prepared sheera. Mix well and serve hot
