These Healthy Banana Oatmeal Muffins are a perfect go-to snack and make the best breakfast recipe for a busy morning

Ingredients

  • 1 Ripe Banana, big size  (if small in size then use 2 bananas)
  • 1 Egg
  • 180 ml Almond milk
  • 175 grams Rolled oats
  • tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon powder
  • ½ tsp Nutmeg, grated
  • 35 grams Walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 25 grams Dark chocolate chips 
  • 1 tbsp Honey

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mash a ripe big banana. Add the egg and almond milk, whisk well
  • To this bowl, add the rolled oats, salt, baking powder, cinnamon powder, grated nutmeg and mix well with the wet ingredients (You do not need to do this in separate bowls, its a quick, easy and hassle-free recipe)
  • Once well mixed, add the walnuts and a few chocolate chips. Mix the Healthy Banana Oatmeal Muffins batter well
  • Grease a muffin tray with some coconut oil and pour the batter into it, you can fill them till the brim of the mold. Sprinkle some more chocolate chips over it and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 20 to 25 mins or until an inserted skewer comes out clean
  • Once baked, let the muffins sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, unmold and drizzle some honey over the muffins before you bite into them. Enjoy !!
