3 Ingredients Cookie Recipe – Indian Recipes
INGREDIENTS
GULAB JAMUN MIX
Firstly, when I say gulab jamun cookies, I do not use freshly made gulab jamuns but I use the PREMIX that is easily available in the market to make these Tea Time Cookies. All you need to do is buy the packet of gulab jamun pre-mix powder and use it in the recipe as required. I like the brand called GITS… Similarly, you also get another brand of gulab jamun premix called ET-MI which I wouldn’t recommend using. MTR is another good brand for this premix
BUTTER
It’s best to use unsalted butter for this recipe as the gulab jamun premix comes with salt added to it. After that, melt the butter and use as required.
POWDERED SUGAR
Weigh regular granular sugar and then grind it into a fine powder. Also, I have mentioned the sugar quantity in accordance with my liking feel free to add less or more as required. I don’t like my cookies too sweet so these are perfect
CARDAMOM POWDER
This adds a lovely flavor to the biscuits. However, if you don’t like the flavor of this spice, feel free to skip it. Similarly, you can even add some almond essence, it adds a good flavor to the cookies as well

Eggless Gulab Jamun Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cup (150 grams) gulab jamun pre-mix
- ¼ cup (45 grams) powdered sugar, sieved
- ¾ cup (75 grams) unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
Method
- Firstly, in a bowl add the gulab jamun mix, powdered sugar, and cardamom powder. Mix well
- Next, add the melted butter and form a dough. If you need a little more melted butter to form the dough go on and add one more tablespoon
- Then, form small balls of the dough (mine were 25 grams each ball)
- Place in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. After that, put on any impressions on the cookie to make it look fancy (I just made lines on it using a knife)
- Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 160 degrees C for 12-15 mins (the bottom of the cookies should turn light brown)
- In conclusion, remove from the oven and let it set aside for 15 mins before you bite into it

Looks tooo yummy, want to try it for my kid,Can you guide me to bake it without oven? I don’t have oven
Alisha Rodrigues says
I’m not really sure but you may try baking it in a cooker. Just put some salt in the cooker at the base (without a whistle) and put a ring on the salt. Place a tray or a vessel over the ring with the cookies. Close the cooker (no whistle ok) and cook for 20 mins or until done. Do this on medium flame and let me know how it turns out too. Should work !!
