Chocolate Granola Bars Recipe – No Bake Chocolate Prunes Almond Granola Bars

Granola Bars are always available in my kitchen. I make these really often as my family enjoys munching on these. Chocolate one’s being our absolute favorite. These bars contain almond butter, honey, oats, prunes, almonds, so so much goodness. I even like to wrap these individually in butter paper with some rustic looking ribbons or strings and pick them up for friends and relatives.

These granola bars are popular among the kids as well as they contain chocolate and nuts. So if you are in a rush and don’t know what to add to your child’s tiffin box, just pop some of these.

Let’s Talk Ingredients – Chocolate Granola Bars Recipe

Almond Butter: This recipe contains Almond butter which is really healthy and good for you. Almond Butter is easily available all over, however, I like to make my own butter. I have also shared my Almond Butter Recipe with you guys in the past. It’s easy to make, works out cheaper when done in your kitchen and also you are sure about the quality of almonds used to make the butter.

In case almond butter is not what you like, go on and substitute it with peanut butter or any nut butter

Oats: This recipe contains oats which is another power-packed ingredient. Oats are rich in fiber, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants which means their super good for you. To make these bars, you require rolled oats that are tossed in the oven for 15-20 mins before using them to make the granola bars

Almonds & Prunes: In this recipe, I’ve used almonds and prunes for the Fruit & Nut Crunch however you can feel free and use any Nut or fruit of your choice. Hazelnuts, pistachio, dried cranberries, raisins, cashews, dried apricots, all of them go really well. So feel free and add what you like.

Roasting the nuts brings out the real flavor. So always toast your nuts before adding them to this recipe
