Welcome to my blog and today we creating a luxury cup of creamy french hot chocolate. The French hot chocolate is super creamy, rich and the perfect cup for every chocolate lover.

I’m not a coffee or tea person but I’m in love with sitting in cafes with a cup of hot chocolate (Trust me!  the French do it right).

This recipe is simple and to the point. No much drama or skills required but just your taste buds to experience real flavor

Chocolate: This is the main ingredient in this recipe. To make the best hot chocolate stick onto to using pure dark chocolate (not compound chocolate) You can also use milk or white pure chocolate as to what you like best but make sure to use the pure version of it and not compound

Milk: You can use almond milk, coconut milk or any milk of your choice. However, I like mine with full-fat dairy milk as it tastes PERFECT

Ingredients
  1. 150 grams pure dark chocolate, chopped
  2. 200 grams full fat dairy milk
  3. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  4. 80 ml full fat cream
  5. 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  6. 1/4 teaspoon instant coffee powder
Instructions
  1. In a pan, add the milk and cream together along with the coffee powder and sugar, Let this mixture heat up till you see tiny bubbles appearing at the edges of the pan. Make sure to not boil this mixture
  2. Once done, switch off the gas and add the chopped chocolate to it. Mix well until all the chocolate is melted and well combined
  3. If you feel the chocolate has not melted completely put the mixture back on the gas
  4. Once done serve in a cup with a big dollop of whipping cream over it
Notes
  1. If you do not consume all of it store it in the fridge. The mixture will thicken. To bring it back to normal reheat the mixture and serve
