Coconut water

Coconut water is sweet & healthy. A great substitute instead of fruit juices or unhealthy readymade sweetened liquids.

Honey

Honey is a healthier sweetener as compared to sugar. Add the honey only as required as per sweetness

Blueberries for Healthy Fruit Popsicle

Fresh blueberries are low in calories and delicious too. You may use any fruit of your choice to make these popsicles but I’ve used blueberries in this recipe

How to make healthy popsicles at home?

Add honey to coconut water as per sweetness. Mix well

In a popsicle mold, add fruits of your choice. Blueberries go well with coconut water, thus we added a bunch of it

Top up the berries with the sweetened coconut water and freeze till the popsicles are ready to serve

How to unmold popsicles?

Step 1

Remove the popsicle mold from the freezer

Step 2

Dip the mold in a bowl of room temperature water for 30 seconds. This will loosen the sides of the mold

Step 3

Carefully pinch the base of the popsicle mold and pull the popsicle from the mold

Step 4

If it does not pop out easily, do not apply force but place the mold again the room temperature bowl of water. This should loosen the sides

Ingredients

  • 2 cups coconut water 470 ml
  • 2 tbsps honey add only as per taste
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries 150 grams (or any fruit of your choice)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the honey with coconut water. Mix well. Add the honey only as per sweetness
  • Next, in a popsicle mold, add the blueberries. Top it up with the sweetened coconut water and freeze for 8 hours
